This advice has been rattling around in my head since I heard it on Friday.
“Transparency” as a company value can sound like a sort of pipe dream. Yet the opposite implies malfeasance and inspires conspiracy theories. I have too many conversations during my workday where so-and-so doesn’t know yet, but… Or we’re still trying to figure out how to message that…
I respect the complexities of communication within a large organization. But I prefer not to sneak.
